Using Computer Vision to map trees in Cambridge, UK.
Overview
As part of my MRes dissertation in the Master’s in Environmental Data Science at the University of Cambridge, I used detectree2 to segment and map individual trees in Cambride, UK. I used 25 cm resolution RGB images from EDINA and manually labelled ~2000 trees.
